KOJO Garage is an independent automotive workshop based in Huddersfield, providing professional vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics.
Although KOJO is a new name, our experience in the motor trade stretches back to 2009, with roots in two established automotive businesses - ID-Workz and ID Motors.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2009 with the founding of ID-Workz, a specialist supplier of performance car parts.
Over the years, ID-Workz has grown into an established name in the automotive aftermarket, supplying performance components to enthusiasts, customers and workshops throughout the UK.
In 2013, we expanded into vehicle sales with the establishment of ID Motors, an independent used car dealership in Huddersfield.
Running both businesses has given us extensive experience across different areas of the automotive industry - from sourcing specialist performance components to buying, preparing, maintaining and selling vehicles.
More importantly, it's given us a unique perspective on the motor trade.
Why We Created KOJO
After so many years in the automotive industry, we've worked with countless garages, mechanics and specialist workshops.
Through ID-Workz, we've built relationships with workshops and technicians across the country. Through ID Motors, we've relied on garages for everything from routine servicing and MOT preparation to diagnostics and major mechanical repairs.
We've experienced some outstanding workmanship and worked with some incredibly talented people.
But we've also experienced the frustrations that many motorists know all too well.
Poor communication, unnecessary delays, unclear pricing, misdiagnosed faults and workmanship that sometimes falls short of expectations.
Having spent years on the customer side of the workshop, we know how frustrating these experiences can be.
And that's ultimately what inspired us to create KOJO Garage.
We wanted to build the kind of garage we'd always wanted to use ourselves.
